They say the joy of the season is in giving and while that may be true, when you have a massive list of people to shop for, that joy can be rather a drag, am I right? There’s always the risk of buying something someone already has and do you really want to waste money on a gift that will be forgotten by New Years? Me either. That’s why I’m hitting up the marketplaces popping up this month to get my gifting on. There’s no better place to find unique gifts made by local artisans and businesses. Lots of these fairs and markets feature music, gourmet food and a party atmosphere, so don’t think you’ll be forced to rummage through bins in some dark basement. Trust us, oncee you hit one of these spots you’ll forsake the mall.
