Fall is officially here and it’s a perfect time to revamp your current workout. Switching your exercise routine from time to time helps to combat boredom, plateaus, and even injuries from overtraining certain muscles.

If you’re looking for some motivation, there are some wonderful apps to teach you new moves, track your progress, and push you to the next level of fitness. Check out our favorite five fitness apps to keep your in shape this fall.

5. RUNTASTIC RUNNING & FITNESS

Runtastic uses GPS so you can track your runs in real time. If you’re not a runner, no worries. You can track other activities like spinning and weight lifting. The app also allows you to pick a fitness goal based on distance, time or calories you would like to burn. The voice coach that provides feedback is a particularly nice touch.

If variety is what keeps you pumped, we highly recommend downloading Fitnet. Downloading is free but you can purchase extras like working with a trainer. What we like best is that it offers a buffet of workout options at varying fitness levels. Yoga, strength training and Taiji, Fitnet has it. You’ll get more than 180 free videos, webcam scoring included. And did we mention that the app turns your camera into a biometric sensor so you can gain feedback while you exercise? Yep, pretty swag.

Things get intense in this HITTcentric download. Pick a workout based on your fitness level and goal. Pictorials and tutorials teach unfamiliar movess while an audio coach transitions you from burpees to mountain climbers.  Workouts can be as short as 15 minutes but by the end, your muscles will scream, Mercy.

If pictures of ripped abs and tight bums gets you into gear, BurnThis will be up your alley. This app is a hybrid of Instagram and Pinterest with inspiring quotes, tips, and photos. Lose It! is a trainer and nutritionist in one. The app allows you to track macros, sleep, exercise, and even blood pressure.
